Cool idea! =GIVING=

Just read a fabulous post by a Facebook friend, and feel compelled to pass it on. If we were all more connected with the spirit of GIVING, it would indeed make not only OUR lives easier, but also the lives of those around us who are lacking in some way - mentally, physically, emotionally, or just feeling a simple lack of HOPE. Our own act of opening up, connecting, and giving of ourselves creates a wonderful bright energy that really sparks up our life and that of others. Here is Richard Parson's post from "GiveJust1"...

Here is a great piece on CNN about Giving. So many great examples out there. Many of you are giving your time and energy to those in need. Some of you give and give and give.

What if everyone were able to at least give just one day of service in their own community. If you are someone who is already giving please share your story. You may be the catalyst that motivates someone else to give volunteerism a try.

If you are on the fence or on the bench... give it a try! There are so many great opportunities to make a difference right around the corner wherever you live.

The full billing of this great website is: Markdown Mom: The Art of Elegance On a Budget. It's the cat's meow! Covering everything from couponing to thrift stores to dumpster-diving to fashion and beauty tips on the cheap, this lady has it all, *AND* a dry sense of humor to boot!

Upcoming Review: Propac Pet Food (Thumbs Down)

I read a post on a feline health site this morning, that chilled my blood. A lady lost 2 of her cats within 2 weeks, and possibly has 2 others ill. I will stay tuned, but the moderator (a feline nutritionist/health expert) thought it may have been the diet the cats had been on. It included Propac dry cat food, and frozen raw food (mice, etc) from Rodentpro.com. There had been other members on the site who had cats sicken and even die while using Propac. And the feeding of raw food to pets can be tricky.


I'm going to do more research on this and post a full review soon. In the meantime, I would suggest to stay away from feeding your pets Propac products, and items such as raw/frozen rodents.
